Lead Customer Care Representative
Claudia has been with Mercy for almost seven years. She was born in Daly City, in the Bay Area, but grew up in the coastal town of Half Moon Bay. From a young age, Claudia has had a deep love for animals, growing up with cats, dogs, and chickens. Her first job in a veterinary facility was in her hometown of Half Moon Bay, where she worked for about six months before an unexpected move to Sacramento due to family reasons.
Once in Sacramento, Claudia knew she wanted to continue her journey in the veterinary field, and her passion for it has only grown. At Mercy, where she has worked for nearly seven years, she cares for three cats named Layla, Leo, and Luna, as well as a dog named Gambie. Claudia became a certified cat lady over 13 years ago when she found her beloved cat, Snuggles, as a kitten. Though Snuggles has since passed away, Claudia cherishes the memories.
Her goal at Mercy is to continue helping clients and their pets with their everyday needs and to provide the best care possible. Claudia loves this field and couldn’t imagine herself anywhere else.
