Veterinary Technician Assistant
Emily is excited and happy to serve you and your furry family members at Mercy Pet Hospital. She has had a passion for helping both wild and domestic animals from an early age. Fascinated by veterinary science, Emily believed that a career in this field would be fulfilling and align with her life’s purpose. She is deeply committed to helping clients provide the best possible care for their animal family members. Her Dalmatian, Orca, is her best friend and a huge part of her life.
Emily’s inspiration for entering the veterinary field began when she worked with wildlife for California State Parks in Half Moon Bay. While marine biology has been a significant part of her life, growing up around hunting dogs and family pets made her realize that a private animal practice might be a better fit for her. After finding her dog Orca, she knew it was time to transition into a career path focused on family pets.
In her free time, Emily enjoys hanging out with her two cats, a Siberian Husky, a Pomeranian, and, of course, her best bud Orca, also known as Orca the “dorca” or Muscle Butt (who never leaves her side!). She is grateful and humbled to serve the wonderful clients of Mercy Pet Hospital and looks forward to helping all clients and their fuzzy loved ones. If Emily could have any wish, it would be for our animal soulmates to be with us forever. Helping to connect medical veterinary science with keeping your family members together for a longer period fulfills her purpose. Being able to help humans connect with their pets in the medical field has been a dream come true for her!
